Hi @JaatBangarwa,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP Laptop 15‑db1xxx is not producing any audio, whether through the internal speakers, HDMI, or headphones. Let’s go through steps to troubleshoot this issue.

Check audio output settings

Right-click the speaker icon → Sound → Playback tab.

Make sure the correct output device (Speakers or HDMI) is set as default.

Test each device by selecting it and clicking Configure → Test.

Check Windows audio settings

Go to Settings → System → Sound → Output.

Ensure the volume is up and not muted, and select the desired output device.

Update or reinstall audio drivers

Press Windows + X → Device Manager → Sound, video and game controllers.

Right-click your audio device → Update driver or uninstall and restart the laptop to reinstall automatically.

You can also download the latest audio driver for your model from HP Support.

Check for disabled audio devices

In the Playback tab, right-click and enable Show Disabled Devices.

Enable and set your audio device as default if it appears.

Run Windows Audio Troubleshooter

Go to Settings → System → Sound → Troubleshoot.

Follow the prompts to detect and fix issues automatically.

Test with external devices

Connect USB headphones or an external speaker to see if any sound works.

If external devices work, the internal speaker may be faulty.

I hope this helps.
