Do I need speakers to get any audio, or is there some setting I'm missing. Can't get audio. (It said online that there are integrated speakers in the monitor.) Dumb question, I know, but I don't know the answer to it.

The following link show the specs of your monitor
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c02022661
It has speakers but only has DVI-D and VGA video input connectors therefore you won't get sound from it. Amazing, I can't find from its specs where to connect audio. What do the speakers because no connection available ? I've got no idea.
I will ask people and post back later.
Regards.

The monitor requires an audio cable, see the manual shown here. Full manual is here. Pg 13
Aside from that, the monitor also have a volume control, see pg 19.
