I recently upgraded to 8.1 but it brought with it an issue, the issue being that audiodg.exe is stopping sound from being played frequently. It starts using up tons of CPU or memory and then my sound stops working...I tried disabling audio enhancements but there are none! Please help!
Thanks in advance!

Hi.
If you follow the instructions on the link you were provided you will be able to check the product information as the best support can be offered if you can provide the exact model or product number it will make it easier for anyone to offer you support. If you turn on the laptop while tapping F1 a menu will appear with product info and that will give you the laptop's product number
Audiodg stopped working its a Windows service for audio device isolation graph;
Try the troubleshooting steps in this link but don't download anything like driver easy or such:
https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/fix-audio-services-not-responding-windows-10-with-pictures/
Try restarting the service in Windows services and update your audio drivers and then go into CMD(admin) or PowerShell(admin) and run:
sfc /scannow
Hope this helps you somehow and best of luck
