Hello,
I have a problem with the Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation process. I use my ENVY to take notes during lessons with OneNote. I always record the audio alongside the notes. Sometimes I notice the fan going at full power while OneNote is the only app in use and the notebook gets hot fast. In this cases I open the task manager and always find that audiolog.exe is using up to 60% of my CPU (the screenshot is in Italian). I would say that this is not normal. The only audio effect that I have activated in Bang e Olufsen audio control is HP noise cancellation.
However, when the process goes crazy I usually stop the recording (the process continues to drain CPU even when no recording is taking place) and terminate the process. When I record again audiolog.exe will get restarted using normal resources.
I created 2 dumps of the process while it was using too many resources. You can find them here.

Hi @LoGaIta99
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Try these steps -
1) Right-click the speaker icon in the lower right corner.
2) Select Playback Devices from the menu. A list of devices should appear on the screen.
3) Double-click the device that has a green check mark. The properties windows for that device should open.
4) Click the Enhancements tab at the top.
5) From the list of enhancements, uncheck all of them, or click the Disable all enhancements checkbox.
6) Click the OK button to save your changes and close the window.
7) Click OK to close the Playback Devices window.
If the issue still persists, try these additional steps -
Step 1 Run Audio troubleshooter -
1) In Windows, type "Find and fix audio" into Search, or right-click the speaker icon on the taskbar and select Troubleshoot sound problems.
2) Select Find and fix audio playback problems or Find and fix audio recording problems from the Search results.
Step 2 Re-install the Audio drivers -
1) In Windows, search for and open Device Manager.
2) Double-click Sound, video and game controllers.
3) Right click on the Audio drivers and click on uninstall.
4) Restart the computer.
Let me know how that goes.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
Click the “Kudos, Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
Have a great day!
