@llrab, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It looks like you're experiencing a common issue with the Bang & Olufsen (B&O) audio driver on your HP Pavilion 15-cs3006tx after upgrading to Windows 11. Here's how you can resolve it:

Download the Correct Audio Driver

HP typically packages the B&O Audio Control within the Realtek High Definition Audio Driver. You can download the latest version from the official HP support site:

HP Pavilion 15-cs3006tx Drivers - HP Support

Look for:

  • Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver

Install the Driver

  • Uninstall any existing audio drivers from Device Manager.
  • Restart your laptop.
  • Install the downloaded Realtek driver.
  • Restart again.

Check Audio Services

If sound still doesn’t work:

  • Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  • Ensure Windows Audio and Realtek Audio Service are both running and set to Automatic.

B&O Audio Control App

Sometimes, the B&O Audio Control app is not installed automatically. If it's missing:

  • Check the Microsoft Store for HP Audio Control or B&O Audio Control.
  • Alternatively, it may be bundled with the Realtek driver and should appear after installation.

Windows Troubleshooter

  • Go to Settings > System > Sound > Troubleshoot.
  • Let Windows detect and fix any issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
