Hi,

That's strange.

Open windows file explorer, select This PC, double click Local Disk C, open Program Files, open the folder Realtek, open Audio, and open HDA - near the bottom of the list, do you see an entry titled RtkNGUI64 ?  If you do have this entry, try double clicking it - does this launch the B&o gui?

Regards,

Hi,

Download and reinstall the Realtek HD Audio software package on the following link - this should also provide the B&o gui.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp80501-81000/sp80538.exe

Hello, David!
Thank you for your advice

I downloaded and reinstalled the driver. No changes. B&O driver doesn't appear, is there another way?

Hi,

You're welcome :generic:

I've double-checked the installer and it does contain the components for the B&o interface, so try the following.

Download the alternative Realtek HD Audio installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp78501-79000/sp78631.exe

When done, hold down the Windows key and press R

Into the Run window, type devmgmt.msc and hit enter.

In Device Manager, expand Sound, Video and Game Controllers.  Right click the Realtek device and select Uninstall - you should also get a prompt to remove the current driver, tick the box to allow this and then proceed with the uninstall.

When complete, download and reinstall the Chipset driver on the following link.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp78001-78500/sp78355.exe

When the Chipset reinstallation has completed, restart the notebook.

When windows has reloaded, open your Downloads folder, right click on the Realtek installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation.  When this has completed, restart the notebook and let windows fully load for a few minutes - then open windows Control Panel and in the top right, next to View by: select 'Large Icons'.  From the new layout, check if there's now a B&o  entry.
