can anyone help me get sound on my hp envy

I cant get sound doesnt even see a sound device doesent let me instal drivers even tryed a clean install of windows i give up

Hi:

I believe that if you install this W10 IDT audio driver from a newer model AIO PC, your PC's missing audio problem may be solved.  Restart the PC after installing the driver.

thank you so much I've been working on that for three weeks striate  had Microsoft remotely took over my computer trying to figure it out for 4 days and they gave up said sorry that they couldn't help me any more. they were stumped. can you help get me the drivers to make the touch screen work now please.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to help you with that, because no touchscreen drivers are needed for your model PC and usually, they are not required for most PC's that come with touchscreens.

Somehow the touchscreen must be activated with a combination of the chipset and graphics drivers installed by Windows.

I never could figure it out what makes the touchscreen work.

I have a HP notebook with a touchscreen, and there are no touchscreen drivers for it.

It came with W10, and the touchscreen worked automatically after I clean installed W10.

Then I clean installed W11, and the touchscreen still works.

HP retired support for your PC since it is more than 10 years old, but if you look under all the operating systems that were supported for your PC from this reputable 3rd party driver website, you can see what I am referring to...no touchscreen drivers listed for any operating system.
