im trying to play the audio from my 3ds to my laptop, i have an aux cord and a splitter and its recognized by the computer but it doesnt play the audio

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

 

I see that you are facing an issue with playing sound from your Laptop speakers when you have a device connected to it to play from it.

 

Unfortunately, you wont be able to play sound from the internal speakers by connecting a device to your laptop as the laptop does not act as a standalone speakers to connect and play it.
