Hi, when I am attempting to plug my microphone into the headphone/microphone jack on my laptop, the computer keeps thinking that it is headphones and that there is no microphone plugged in. I have done some research and nothing really has come up to help me. I was hoping someone could possibly help me with this problem. Thank you 🙂 let me know if anyone has any questions about my problem also.

Your machine has Microphone/headphone combo jack on its right, normally this port dows not support a standalone microphone. Please try microphones on headsets
