hp dv7-7350eb
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone.

I want to report an issue concerning the drivers of the HP DV7-7350eb.

There are still no Windows 10 drivers created for this notebook!

The windows 8 drivers work for the biggest part although the audio driver has some troubles to produce clear sounds in Windows 10.

The audio worked perfectly in Windows 8.1 with the same driver.

It would be very nice if the driver programmers can upgrade (or rewrite) these drivers after such a long time... I hope someone with influence reads over this forum post.

I'm creating this post for a client of mine who has this audio problem on his notebook.

Thanks in advance!

Hi:

This is a peer to peer forum.

HP maintains no official presence on this forum, other than to monitor compliance with the forum rules of participation.

HP will never develop any W10 drivers for any product made prior to August of 2013.

Here is their info link on W10 support...

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05195282

You can try a W10 IDT audio driver from a newer PC that was the sucessor to that model series and see if that works...

This package contains the driver that enables the IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.

I doubt it will do you any good since HP has already addressed this matter in the above document, but you can address your concerns to the HP Executive Team at the link below...
