Hi,
Try reinstalling the IDT HD Audio software package on the following link - this will also provide the Beats gui.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp63501-64000/sp63555.exe
When the reinstallation has completed, restart the notebook.

Hi,
The software package should have installed the Beats gui - you can check this as follows.
Open windows Control Panel and in the top right, next to View by: select 'Large Icons'. From the new layout, you should see the Beats icon.
