Product: hp pavilion 15 AU620TX
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have hp pavilion 15 AU620TX with the latest update and all the drivers updated but there's a problem.

After trying almost everything i am unable to work with an external microphone. My notebook isn't recognising the mic that is BOYA BY M1. PLEASE suggest me something asap. 6.PNGThis is all it shows even after inserting my external mic. and when i tried to check my mic with smartphone its completely working. the sound stops playing on the notebook when i insert my ext mic. but it isn't recording. i want to know why?

This is the first time or it used to work and now failed after updates ? I know on many machines, the  Headphone / Microphone Combo Jack does not support stand alone microphone.
