Welcome to the HP Forums, this is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you want to change the start up sound on chromebook. I would like to help you resolve this issue.
Install startup sound extension from the Chrome Web Store, and enjoy the startup sound every time you boot your Chrome OS device.
