Sometimes the HP audio controls icon does not appear in the system tray or the pop up is blocking the system tray in a way that it is impossible to access the icon in order to remove the pop up. this is a design flaw and is seriously annoying. being able to turn off the pop up through a quit button on the pop up would be a a much better way to do it. very stupid design.
