Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
im currently having sound issues on my laptop, its not as good and loud as it was before. I've installed and updated some of IDT High Definition Audio CODEC versions, nothing worked, its still not loud enough even at max volume and the quality sucks. need help pls...tnx

It is an old CTO machine, no Windows 10 drivers for it

What is your Pavilion dv6 ? There are few generations called dv6 and each generation has dozens of different models/products. Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

  http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00033108

  Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).

is says "the hardware detected is not supported by this IDT software package.the install will be aborted.

on the second thought nvm, i managed to find a way to fix it using the link u gave me, thank you very very much! my audio is finally back to its normal state
