My hp 15-1233wm laptop / notebook has been a nightmare since I received it from Walmart.
It crashes, freezes takes forever to upload any webpage or scroll email
Not sure if it's the device or Windows 10 but in addition to the annoying touch screen wannabe desk top wasting hours of time trying to find everything that is now unfamiliar..
The sound is so quiet I can't hear anything when cars drive past my window.
So I found external speakers I intended to use but discovered there is only an insert for headphones that doesn't work with speakers. UNBELIEVABLE
Does anyone know a solution for no speaker jack ?

Here are the specs:

This is a very low-end computer with a very limited processor. It is not hard to understand why it is slow. I try to speak out about these "budget" computers. The problem is that nobody will pay an honest price for computers so they can be made with good components and the people that make them be paid a living income. But that is for another day.
The audio jack is a headphone/microphone combo and needs a 3.5 mm dual band connection
You can get an adapter like this and it turns your dual band port into separate ports for a regular speaker jack and a microphone only jack:
