Microsoft Windows 11

I have a hp laptop 15-gw0xxx and the analog jack not detected.  I have tried ear buds and speakers.  The jack will not work.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled driver and still nothing.  My speakers work find but the jack does nothing.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as this has been a MONTH now I have been trying to get this resolved.

followed all steps COMPLETLY and now it takes MUCH longer to boot up and the headphone jack is still not working.  Music continues to only play through the speakers

There does not seem to be an option to enable the jack either....see below screen shot

Hello @Eachus

I think we both conclude that the audio jack is defective.

As a cheap workaround, please buy the following:

UGREEN USB to Audio Jack Sound Card Adapter with Dual TRS 3-Pole 3.5mm Headphone and Microphone USB ...

Good luck

Kind regards
