You  have a Realtek audio chip.   This driver is dated Jun, 2020 and is newer than the ones listed for your system but should work

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp104001-104500/sp104077.exe

If not, then please bring up the device manager and identify the device the has the warning next to it, if any.

For example:

Lemme know if a problem

I attempted to upload your driver:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp104001-104500/sp104077.exe

and got the message:  "The driver is not supported in the OS Version (10.0.9045).

When I attempt to update my Version 10, i get the message that it is the most recent update.

Thank you for your suggestion,

I just need to know how to re-install a new audio device.

Documentation for your system is missing detailed information about the audio device.  All I can find out is that Realtek drivers are used and they have a lot of drivers.

You reported the message  "hp no audio output device is installed "

but then you report "that it is the most recent update."

Speakers should be listed in the device manager.  Are they there?

I need to know what audio device your system has.    Please run msinfo32.exe and select "Sound Device" io the left panel.

In the right panel report what is used for audio.  For example

Name Realtek High Definition Audio
Manufacturer Realtek
Status OK
PNP Device ID HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_1168&SUBSYS_10438733&REV_1000\4&87D3799&0&0001
Driver C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\RTKVHD64.SYS (6.0.9400.1, 6.04 MB (6,328,568 bytes), 12/23/2023 2:51 PM)

Information like the above can help identify the audio device so i can get the correct driver.

Were there any warning or cautions in the Device Manager?  If so, what was marked as having a problem.

Please go to the below site, enter your Product ID including the characters after the # symbol. There is a possibility of a factory restore.  Hopefully this is not needed.

Dear BeemerBiker,
