Product: HP Pavilion x360 Laptop - 14-dw0005na
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

The sound suddenly stopped working on my hp pavillion laptop.

It reads as a speaker with an x and when i click on it, it says no audio device installed.  It plays if i connect to my headphones but that is the only way i can get any sound. All the tests i have tried won't work as it says i need to plug in speakers but i have never plugged in speakers i use the in build speakers on the laptop. They just suddenly stopped.

 

I have tried so many things i'm at a loss at what to do next.
