Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I was never able to make the internal mic on my laptop to work since I bought it a few days ago. After updating the audio drivers from the HP Support site it is finally recognised, and it looks like its operative, and the mute button started to work, but sound is not perceived. It works as if I was recording absolute silence. It's not the mute button or volume. Don't know what else could be happening.

UEFI warranty test: Check to see if there is a hardware problem: Watch this video.

Tap the ESC key after powering on. Tap it once a second after you see the LEDs on the keyboard flash. When you see the startup menu, press F2 to run diagnostics.

If a component fails during the UEFI test then Click here to check warranty
