Hello.

 

Too little information to begin with. Elitebook is a line of laptops HP has manufactured in dozens of different models over the last 10+ years.

 

In any case, the microphone may have broken, but it is a replaceable part. I recommend taking your laptop to a local HP authorized service partner and let them have a look, and possibly replace the microphone.
