HP ENVY Laptop 13-ba1000 (1F4E1AV)

I had a proper working microphone and (i think) after an update (that I cannot find) my microphone is not working anymore. All test are positive all drivers up to date but still my microphone is not working.

It seems to me like some sort of security of software blockage.

If I use the jack plug on the side its working but the open array as before is not working

Help any help is welcome

Hello @PatrickA7 , how are you ?

See if with the most current version of the audio, you can restore the microphone

Hello @PatrickA7

Are you really using Windows 11?

Is the version indicated in the driver?

Hello @PatrickA71

Thanks for the information.

It is a more current version of the driver that is available.

Try to find something compatible using the systems below:

Ma-Config; Driver Easy; Driver Booster; Drivers Collection

Or if you don't want to, I recommend waiting for future updates on the HP website

Regards

I really tried everything installing oder driver versions etc, running all sort of diagnostic tools. Nothing changes the fact that speakers are working but microphone not. If I use the jack plug with external microphone its working but the buit in ones no longer work. I am sure it is some sort of software maybe bios setting.

Hello @PatrickA71

It's not the BIOS setting, in this case it's really the hardware itself.

Because even similar drivers do not install.

I recommend checking whether a technical assistant can support:
