Hi @laptop25112006,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Experiencing frequent fluctuations in your Bluetooth connection on your HP laptop can be frustrating. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve this issue.

Check Device Proximity:

  • Ensure that the Bluetooth device is within the optimal range of your laptop. Objects and walls in between may cause signal interference.

Update Bluetooth Drivers:

  • Check if there are any available updates for your Bluetooth drivers. You can do this by:
    • Going to the Device Manager on your HP laptop.
    • Expanding the "Bluetooth" section.
    • Right-clicking on the Bluetooth adapter and selecting "Update driver."

Remove Interfering Devices:

  • Other wireless devices can interfere with Bluetooth signals. Turn off or move away other electronic devices to see if it improves the connection.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Ensure your operating system is up to date. Sometimes, updates can fix existing connectivity issues.

Re-pair the Device:

  • Unpair the Bluetooth device from your laptop and then pair it again to reset the connection:
    • Go to "Settings" > "Devices" > "Bluetooth & other devices".
    • Remove the device and then pair it back again.

Restart Bluetooth Service:

  • Restart the Bluetooth service by typing services.msc in the Run dialog, finding the “Bluetooth Support Service,” right-clicking it, and selecting "Restart".

Check Power Management Settings:

  • In Device Manager, under "Bluetooth Adapter," go to "Properties."
  • In the "Power Management" tab, ensure the option "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is unchecked.

Check for Hardware Issues:

  • If the problem persists, there might be a hardware issue either with the Bluetooth module of your HP laptop or the connected device. Testing with another Bluetooth device.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
