my laptop doesnt recognise any microphone input

My microphone doesn’t recognise any microphone input from any microphone I tested. I tried like 3 or 4 microphones, and they show up in the devices, but there is no audio. I tried AUX and USB. I checked the volume and if it is the standard device. I also tried to reinstall the drivers and delete the microphone completely in the device-manager and reinstall it. The last Thing I tried was the Audio fix tool (or something like that) from HP and it said everything was right, but it didn’t help either.
I have all Windows updates installed, and the BIOS is also up to date.

It has 

• 1 headphone/microphone combo port,
• 1 microphone port.

The first one may not support a stand alone microphone. Can you see it in Input devices for Audio? If yes, please select to use it.

       Note: Right click speaker icon then select Open sound settings
