Hi @SADDAM365

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

To resolve the “No audio device is installed” issue on your HP 15-da0000ne laptop, you’ll need to manually check and reinstall the audio drivers, and ensure the device is enabled in Windows settings.

It’s genuinely frustrating when your system goes silent and troubleshooting tools don’t offer any clarity.

Let’s walk through a few precise steps that can help restore your sound.

Step-by-step fix for missing audio device:

Check if the audio device is disabled in Windows

  • Right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select Sounds.
  • Go to the Playback tab.
  • If no device is listed, right-click in the blank area and enable Show Disabled Devices.
  • If your audio device appears, right-click and choose Enable.

Run HP’s official audio troubleshooting guide

Reinstall the audio driver manually

  • Go to: HP 15-da0000ne Drivers Page
  • Select Windows 10 (64-bit) as your OS.
  • Expand the Driver-Audio section.
  • Download and install the latest Realtek High Definition Audio Driver.

Use Device Manager to verify installation

  • Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
  • Expand Sound, video and game controllers.
  • If no audio device is listed, click Action > Scan for hardware changes.
  • If the device appears with a warning icon, right-click and choose Update driver.

Restart your laptop

  • After installing or updating the driver, restart your system to apply changes.

If the issue persists after these steps, let me know what you see under Device Manager or if any error codes appear. I’ll guide you further based on that.

If my response helped, please mark it as an Accepted Solution It helps others and spreads support. 💙 Also, tapping "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" makes a big difference! Thanks! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
