HI sep7per ,

Think that you can find solution in this post:

http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Audio/No-Audio-Output-Device-installed-and-Intel-SST-Audio-Dev...

However , I will repeat procedure for you:

Press Win+X key , or right click on Start button.

Open device manager.

Usualy , it must show „unknown device“.

Right click , choose „update driver“

Choose second (bottom ) option , let me pickup driver from PC

Again choose bottom option , pickup the driver from the list.

Choose audio controler

On the list – left side – choose Intel corporation (the first one !!! )

On the right side choose  Intel SST Audio Device , and instal it.

You will be prompt not to do it , but do it hovewer.

It should solve emediatly the issue.

All the best!!!

The same thing happened to me and I checked the forums, and all the online help i could find but non of it was a solution.  I did however find an old video that does help with this problem at first it will look like it won't help because its an older version and a slightly different problem that they were going through but watch the whole video and do exactly as he does and I garuntee the problem will be fixed.

They need to make it so that you can upload the steps recorder files.  I did it then relized i couldnt upload the file so i had to take screenshots of everything i did.  They also need to add more available file upload space because i had to do the solution in 2 seperate posts

Din din I tried to uninstall the drivers and run the files you reported to me at the following link:

http:? //www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx q = KB4468550 & ranMID = 24542 & ranEAID = tv2...

but the problem is not solved. in the lower icon appears altoparlate with red cross.
