Hi:

It sounds to me like you tried everything you could and there aren't any W11 drivers for any 17-ceXXXX notebook.

I even checked the newer17-ce2000 model series, hoping that HP would have W11 drivers, and came up empty handed.

Under the circumstances, the only suggestion I can offer would be to use the HP cloud recovery tool to factory reset the PC to W10 and see if that restores the audio.

Here is an info link for how to use the utility.  You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.

HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Customer Support

The cloud recovery tool is available from the Microsoft Store at the link below.

HP Cloud Recovery Tool - Microsoft Store Apps

If that works, you can try the in-place upgrade to W11 by clicking on the blue Windows 11 installation assistant button at the link below (first option) to upgrade back to W11.

Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)

If the audio works, great, If not, you have 10 days to easily go back to W10.

There are so many different versions of the W11 Realtek audio driver out there for many different model notebooks, so who can say if any of them might work on yours?

This is just a handful:

6.0.9501.1

Thank you

I will give it a go, and see if that works.
