Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi my note book was working well when it was with HP care . But when win 10 offered to upgrade fromwin8 originally 

I had this low sound problem . Notice that my CODEC is lost .

Please help

Hi,

 

Download and reinstall the IDT HD Audio software package on the following link.

 

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp63501-64000/sp63555.exe

 

When the reinstallation has completed, restart the notebook and let Windows fully load for a few minutes before checking.

Hi,

 

Can you post back with the full Model No. and Product No. of your g4 series notebook - you can usually get this by holding down the fn key and pressing esc, otherwise see Here for a guide on locating this information.

Hi Sir , After down loading your mention web code , my note book sound quality improved .

But after a few days  the sound quality  sounds cracking . I did some changes to the sound bit from 16 to 24 still the same.

What is the problem now and how to solve it .
