i had bought my laptop and was very happy with it initially. it has not been 2 months since i have bought it and it has started to show errors .
1. Speakers not working properly :- my speakers are of bang & olufsen and were not working to its actual capibility so from the replies of other hp tecnians i tried upgrading it but after that the application did not open only.
2. Graphics not working :- my games that are suppose to work smoothly are not working even at optimal conditions and this is probably because the selected dosent switch to 2gb nvdia 940mx card but remains to be 2gb intel integrated graphics card ,in order to have a smooth play i had to again and again update the driver in order to ak it switch the card but it reverts back and game start to lag again

Hi,
Try the following.
Download the Conexant HD Audio installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp80001-80500/sp80436.exe
When done, hold down the Windows key and press R
Into the Run window, type devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
In Device Manager, expand Sound, Video and Game Controllers. Right click the Conexant device and select Uninstall - you should also get a prompt to remove the current driver, tick the box to allow this and then proceed with the uninstall.
When complete, restart the notebook.
When windows has reloaded, open your Downloads folder, right click on the Conexant installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation. When this has completed, restart the notebook again and let windows fully load for a few minutes before checking.
This will help you for your speaker issues(bang &olufsen) and for your Graphics problem I mentioned another link in the down so plz go through might it ll be helpful for you. all updated driver you can get from this link, so check if there is any issue revert me on the same
