"IDT high definition audio CODEC not functioning"

My laptop wasn't functioning properlly so i did a factory reset. Once this completed, the audio was disabled on my computer. I went to device manager and it stated "No drivers are installed for this device," and there is not an option availible to correct this. Also, when I click on the sound icon in the bottom right corner of the screen and run a troubleshoot, it states "IDT high definition audio CODEC not functioning."

I'm out of ideas to attempt to fix this on my own.

See if installing this driver resolves the problem.  Install and restart the PC.

This package contains the driver that enables the IDTHigh-Definition (HD) Audio in supported notebook models that arerunning a supported operating system.

f11 key always on, no sound. Tried several posted solutions that did not work until running sp63555.exe
A very simple solution that worked immediately after restart.  Startup sound came on and f11 light was off. f11 is now functioning properly.  Pavilion dv7-4280us
