Linux

Hello . I need help with a laptop, I use a translator, so there may be errors. Windows 10 was included with the notebook, but it is not suitable for such devices, and besides, it dipped in performance for a year. I decided to transfer it to Linux, like all my devices, but ran into a problem. Wi-fi can be raised manually, but with sound everything is bad. It is quiet compared to windows. If I am not mistaken, there is a realtek ALC3227. How can I solve the problem? There is Linux mint, working with pulseaudio settings, but working with it and alsa does not help, the sound on windows is louder, more voluminous ....

@sukinson2019 I'm afraid you are on your own when it comes to using Linux OS on the HP device, as we neither support nor recommend using Linux on our device as relevant drivers/software may not be available for it and the same may render the device unstable, hence we recommend you switch back to windows 10 (OEM) using the HP recovery media, the re-installation should resolve any performance related issues and if the issue persists, please click here for steps to improve system performance, if you wish to stick to Linux, please check with a local tech store for further assistance.

Try using Windows 10 on such devices yourself, then advise you to go back. just selling it and taking a normal laptop

@sukinson2019 I am using the Windows 10, can't say its perfect, however, I've had no issues with it, personally! that said, maybe I can help resolve any issues you have come across on Windows 10 and call it a day! or if returning it is what you wish, I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options, follow the below steps to get started:

1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on Sign-in or select the product using the below step:

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!

Also, if you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty, if yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from,

here's how private messages work: Click here for details.

If you wish to thank me for my efforts, you could click on "Accept as solution" on my post as the solution should help others too.
