Hi @Gizzy237

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Since you've already downloaded and installed the official HP sound drivers but still see the "No Audio Device Installed" error, let's try a few additional steps:

1. Check Device Manager for Missing Drivers

  • Press Win + X → Select Device Manager.
  • Expand Sound, Video, and Game Controllers.
  • If you see a yellow warning icon or missing audio device, right-click and select Update DriverSearch automatically.

2. Uninstall & Reinstall Audio Drivers

  • In Device Manager, right-click your audio deviceUninstall device.
  • Restart your laptop—Windows should automatically reinstall the driver.

3. Run Windows Troubleshooter

  • Go to Settings → System → Troubleshoot → Other Troubleshooters.
  • Select Playing Audio → Run the troubleshooter.

4. Check BIOS Settings

  • Restart your laptop and press F10 to enter BIOS.
  • Look for Integrated Audio settings—ensure it's enabled.

5. Install HP Support Assistant

  • Download HP Support Assistant from HP’s official site.
  • Run the tool—it can detect missing drivers and install them automatically.

6. Perform a Hard Reset

  • Turn off your laptop, unplug it, and hold the power button for 30+ seconds.
  • Restart and check if the issue persists.
