Sound does not play from device speakers after I turned it on yesterday. sound plays through an aux cord or Bluetooth but not on my notebook. I have been trying different settings and the system says the best driver is installed. Please help, the notebooks only a few months old.

Hi @cdirty11

Welcome to HP Forums!

It’ll be an honor to guide you through the steps needed to identify and address your query.

I understand you have some issue with your notebook and there is no audio output from the speakers.

Step1: Run Windows Audio Troubleshooter.

  • To run the troubleshooter, select the Start button, type audio troubleshooter in the search box, select Find and fix audio playback problems from the list of results, and then select Next.

If this does not work, it could be an issue with the speaker.

For the next course of action, I am sending you a private message with the information required. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

Please check your Private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile,

Next, to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Cheers
