sound volume is low

i have purchase new laptop, but sound volume is very slow

To boost the volume on your new HP OmniBook, the quickest fix is enabling Windows Loudness Equalisation. This feature intelligently balances audio levels to make quieter sounds louder without distortion. Additionally, make sure to check your hardware and update your audio drivers.
 

1. Enable Loudness Equalisation:
 

This is the most effective way to boost audio output by limiting the difference between loud and soft sounds.
 

1. Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog.
    
2. Type mmsys.cpl and press Enter to open the classic Sound Control Panel.
    
3. Under the Playback tab, right-click your default speakers and select Properties.
    
4. Go to the Enhancements tab.
    
5. Check the box for Loudness Equalisation, click Apply, and then click OK.
   
   Note: If the Enhancements tab is missing, your audio drivers may need to be updated (see step 3).

2. Adjust System and App Volumes:

Sometimes individual app volumes or the master volume slider are turned down. 
 

1. Right-click the speaker icon on your taskbar and select Sound settings.
    
2. Click Volume mixer and ensure the System volume slider and any specific apps you are using (like your web browser) are set to 100%.
    
3. You can also use the hotkeys on your keyboard, which on many HP models are F7 to decrease and F8 to increase volume.

3. Update or Reinstall Audio Drivers:

Outdated or corrupt audio drivers can restrict your speakers' maximum output.
 

1. Right-click the Start button and open Device Manager.
    
2. Expand Sound, video and game controllers.
    
3. Right-click your audio driver (e.g., Realtek) and select Update driver, then choose Search automatically for updated drivers.
    
4. If this doesn't work, right-click and select Uninstall device, then restart your computer. Windows will automatically reinstall a fresh version.
