Hi @jovannn,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

I see that you are facing an issue with the speakers on your Laptop.

Please follow the steps below to perform an audio test to confirm if the hardware is working fine.

1) Shut down the computer.

2) Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears.

3) Press F2 once.

4) click Component Tests > click Audio, and then click Run once.

If you are getting similar sound from the internal speakers, there is an issue with the hardware.

If the hardware is working fine. Update the BIOS for your PC by clicking on the link.

Make sure you keep only the charger plugged in while updating the BIOS for your PC.

Click on the + sign next to BIOS and then download the file.

Open the file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.

Please install all the pending updates for the Windows operating system following the below steps.

go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and select Check for updates. If the upgrade is available for your device and you want to proceed, download and install it.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!

Yeah bad news, sooo it did work couple weeks but than with new windows update it got problems again.Maybe i didnt explain it best last time,so this is exactly whats wrong with my speakers .Lets say im listening to music and i turn on max volume and it will work couple minutes before sound cuts out and starts slowly reducing volume, to still reasonable volume (it doesnt completely go to 0), but i cant achieve highest volume.Sorry for bothering again, thanks

Hi @jovannn,

Thanks for writing back. Did you run the hardware test? What does it say?

Did you get the test passed or any failure code?

Hi @jovannn ,

We apologize for the inconvenience, but it seems that the issue persists even after attempting the troubleshooting steps mentioned above.

Unfortunately, there are no further actions we can take through this channel. I recommend reaching out to our phone support for further assistance.

This might require one-on-one interaction to fix the issue via remote assistance.
