Pavilion 15-eg0116tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have purchased Pavilion 15-eg0116tx, recently.

And there is USB-C I/O and connected with usb-c type headphone.

But it does not work. I can not hear any sound from usb-c headphone.

( * Both speaker and 3.5mm earphone are working well )

 1. My laptop supports usb-c sound ?

 2. If yes, do I need install any sound driver ?

Thank you for your support.

Joon

Its specs

          https://support.hp.com/ie-en/document/c07059851

It has a very good 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port for many other things. It may not compatible with your headphones but using it for headphone is wasting a capacity of gaining other connections.

It has 1 headphone/microphone combo port for that reason.

Regards.
