Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.
To understand the issue and help you, please share the details listed below:
Note: Do not share any of your personal information such as serial number, phone number, email ID, etc., on your public post.
- Exact model number/product number(SKU number) of your HP Product (Click here for information on how to find the model number/product number).
- Error messages (if any) on the unit.
- When was the last time it was working fine?
- Were there any changes made to your PC recently?
Could you please elaborate the issue in detail?
IN the meantime try these steps to install Dolby Audio on your HP Victus laptop.
Check for Pre-installed Dolby Audio:
- Some HP laptops come with Dolby Audio pre-installed. Check if you already have it by searching for "Dolby" in the Start menu.
Download Dolby Audio App:
- If it’s not installed, you can download the Dolby Audio app from the Microsoft Store:
- Open the Microsoft Store app.
- Search for "Dolby Access" and install it.
Install Drivers:
- Make sure your audio drivers are up to date. You can do this via Device Manager:
- Right-click on the Start button and select "Device Manager."
- Expand "Sound, video and game controllers," right-click your audio device, and select "Update driver."
Configure Dolby Audio:
- Once installed, open the Dolby Access app and follow the on-screen instructions to set it up.
- You may need to create a Dolby account or log in.
Adjust Sound Settings:
- Right-click the sound icon in the taskbar and select "Sounds."
- Go to the "Playback" tab, select your audio device, and click "Properties."
- In the "Enhancements" tab, ensure that any Dolby options are enabled.
Restart Your Laptop:
- After installation and configuration, restart your laptop to ensure all changes take effect.
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
