Keyboard only works in BIOS but not in Windows 7
Product name: DV7 4083cl
Operating system: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)
The problem I have locked the keyboard, but it only works in the system BIOS (F10). But when booted with Win7 the keyboard is not working at all even in combination with button (FN). No information on the forum is not founded, except how to enable or disable button (FN). Help to solve this problem

Hi! @oTMoroz, Thanks for stopping by HP forums!
I understand the keyboard only works in BIOS but not in windows.
Don't worry I will try to help you out.
Have you tried checking with an external keyboard on your PC?
Go to windows desktop
Hold Windows key + Letter R key.
Run dialog box would open type devmgmt.msc
Device manager window will open.
Expand Keyboard.
Right click on HID keyboard and click uninstall.
Restarting your PC should automatically install the keyboard drivers.
Check if you are able to use the keyboard.
Refer this article to further troubleshoot keyboard issues.
Let me know if this helps!
Have a great weekend ahead! 🙂

did everything as you said, deleted the keyboard driver and rebooted.... All remained still. External keyboard hooked up (but with her and write) the external work, and built-in klavijatura no.
rebooted pressed f5 on the repaired system as was rekomendovano. The problem remained the same in the BIOS the keyboard works, but the Win7 system NO

As you mentioned the external keyboard works fine on your PC.
