Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP ENVY - 15-as182cl - SSD and 1TB hard drive 

I have been struggling with random Blue screens for a  while.  Sometimes they come up as 03f0 no operating system found , other times I would just get a blue screen and have to reboot.  The problem seemed to be getting more frequent.  

I took the back off of my laptop, I was just going to clean and reseat anything that had contacts.  

When I got to the SSD drive, the screw that holds it down was loose.  Pulled it cleaned the contacts made sure the screw was tight.  Came up with no problems and have not seen a blue screen since. 

I Did some testing, if that screw is loose in the least, it allows the SSD to move around and cause errors.  

 

If you are getting random 03f0 or blue screens - it is certainly something to check.
