Hi @Emmx,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
The error code 0xc0000225 on an HP laptop typically indicates a boot problem, often related to issues with the operating system or its configuration files. This can happen due to various reasons, including corrupted files, hardware problems, or even incomplete Windows updates.
Let's try a Hardware test on the Pc first before we proceed with any advanced steps to try and solve the issue.
Extensive Test:
1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
3. On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.
4. Click Extensive Test.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, as it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
