Hello, I have an unusual issue with this HP laptop that I've never seen before. The BIOS will report that the fan is not working correctly on startup (throwing the error code B90) but this model never came with a fan. In fact, the motherboard doesn't even have the fan connector soldered on to the motherboard. The BIOS version was F.1 and I flashed it to version F.29 and it still displays the error message 90B and shuts off the laptop within 15 seconds if I do not press Enter. I've considered physically soldering on a fan connector and replacing the heatsink with one that is made for fan cooling. Is this an issue on HP's part or am I doing something wrong? I am a technician by trade and I've never seen a laptop do this before by design.
