Hi everyone,

 

When I run the task sequence for 255 G8 Notebook in configuration manager (SCCM) the device will build exactly how I would like it to build apart from it will not encrypt the BIOS with the password specified (Password.bin file) which has been created using the HPQPswd.exe package which was downloaded from the HP website (HP BIOS Config Utility). The system update BIOS is also not being installed or upgraded. Yet however, when the BIOS configuration file goes through the motion it applies the file to the BIOS. Just finding it really bizzare as to why it will not work. Unfortunately I don't have another machine that I could test to see in case it is that machine in particular that's the issue... or it's an issue with the BIOS file itself and the Password.bin file.
