HP Spectre x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Over the past couple of days I have been getting error 3F0 boot device not found on my HP Spectre x360. I have been able to go into BIOS and restore default load settings, and the device successfully boots. However, overnight the laptop has been restarting on its own and providing me with the same error message. Again, this has always responded to the BIOS default load settings fix, but continues to recur. Quick systems check was all a pass, have not run extensive yet. Doesn't seem to be a hardware issue since it responds to BIOS changes, but can't point to any major updates that I can find. Tried system restore but turned out I had no save points available which was kind of strange.

@WT94

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are getting a 3F0 error on the computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you update the BIOS from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.

If you continue facing the issue, then disable secure boot in the BIOS and test.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
