HP ProBook 4530s
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi forum,

I was recently given a 4530s and told that I can keep it if I can get it to work.  It apparently worked fine until it switched itself off one day recently and has never been able to restart again. I have have tried the restart with and without battery... holding the power button in with power disconnected for various amounts of time... holding esc while pushing power button... checked and measured voltage of charger (which is the original charger and it seems fine at 18,5 v)... can't get the power button to light up at all. With the battery in, light at power cable is continual orange. Without battery, it flashes white once and orange once and thereafter, nothing. Can anyone please advise?
