@Fe7561, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're encountering the ACPI BIOS ERROR (0xc0000001) on your HP Pavilion 15-ab126la, and you're currently on BIOS version F.54. This issue can be frustrating, especially when you're unable to access Windows.
Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:
Perform a Hard Reset
- Turn off the laptop.
- Disconnect the AC adapter and remove any external devices (USB drives, printers, etc.).
- Press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the AC adapter (without any peripherals) and try turning on the laptop.
BIOS Recovery Using Key Combination
If the system still doesn't boot, try recovering the BIOS:
Option A: Windows + B
- Turn off the laptop.
- Press and hold the Windows key + B, then press and hold the Power button for 2–3 seconds.
- Release the Power button but continue holding Windows + B for another 10 seconds.
- If successful, the screen may flash and initiate BIOS recovery.
Option B: Windows + V
If the above doesn’t work, try:
- Turn off the laptop.
- Press and hold Windows key + V, then press and hold the Power button.
- After 30 seconds, release the Power button first, then the other keys.
Repeat each method up to 3 times if needed.
Create a BIOS Recovery USB (from another PC)
If BIOS recovery via key combo fails, you can create a recovery USB:
- On another working PC, go to the HP Software and Driver Downloads page.
- Enter your product: HP Pavilion 15-ab126la.
- Download the latest BIOS (F.54 or earlier if available).
- Use the HP BIOS Update utility to create a recovery USB.
- Insert the USB into your affected laptop and repeat the Windows + B or Windows + V recovery steps.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

To be honest, this solution could be works for other users. But I think the problem is with the OS. Unfortunately, after the update, the blue screen of the problem ACPI BIOS ERROR (0xc0000001) returns.
I appreciate your support. Thank you.
