I wan to be forarmed in case of emergency. 

I have an up to date recovery USB key, but how do i access the BIOS to make the PC boot fom the recovery Key

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know how to access BIOS on your computer.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

If you want to boot using the USB flash drive, then you need to disable secure boot and enable legacy support in BIOS.

 

I recommend you follow the steps in the below article to disable secure boot.
