Good day
I had bought a HP 255 G8 laptop for my cousin, Unfortunately she passed away 2 weeks back. My brother in law are trying to access the laptop but keeps coming up with blue block say enter Administrator or power up password. I have followed the steps to try and get the disabled code to try it that way but it don't give me a disabled code only say push power button to shutdown.
Any help will be appreciated as we need to get document and stuff from the laptop

The best way to get files from the laptop is to remove the internal drive and hook it up to a working PC using an adapter.
I wish we could help you with the password -- but we're not allowed to, since we have no way from here to verify ownership of any computer.
