Hp Pavilion 15 notebook
Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

Hello,

I did the factory reset in my hp Pavilion e016tx laptop,  after completion of reset while logging it is asking for the administrator password. I forgot to take the back up of password while doing factory  reset. I tried  multiple  times to enter password but even though it is not showing any error code. I don't have the window CD.

Please help  me how I can login into my laptop.

@Mamta25,

Welcome to HP Support Community,

In this scenario, I would suggest the next option would be to perform a recovery using the recovery media.

Here's what you need to know about ordering a set of recovery media: Click here Or else you can contact our HP support team to order a set of recovery media for your PC.

HP support team can be reached on www.hp.com/contacthp

Select the product type.

Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

Select the country from the drop-down.

You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!

Cheers!
