Hello everyone,
Just got myself an HP Elitebook x360 830 G8 notebook from a friend of mine, however, it has a BIOS Administrator Password installed.
Unfortunately, he doesn't remember it and I just can't access the BIOS without it. I've managed to install a clean Windows, but I'd like to also update the BIOS and change some BIOS settings.
There's some solutions on the internet, where the user disables the System and gets a code, which he can input on some sort of site and get a master code, to reset the BIOS Password, however, it's not the same as mine. When I put 3 wrong password in, I just get a message, saying : "Press the power button to shut down. Press the power button again to restart." and that's it. No code for me.
Is there a solution to remove the BIOS Administrator Password ?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards.
