Hi! I have an old HP Elitebook 2560p that i am trying to install linux on, however i need to access my BIOS settings to do so. I Don't have my BIOS Administrator password, is there a way to get it reset that dont involve replacing the BIOS chip?

Unfortunately, for problem with passwords you will need to contact an HP agent.

Here is HP's official policy regarding BIOS passwords:
HP Business PCs - Forgotten or lost BIOS password | HP® Support
According to the Community's Rules of Participation:
4d. No posts shall include instructions or directions intended to bypass or subvert security measures, including passwords, locking mechanisms, fingerprint scans, etc., or to bypass any safety measures.
You need to contact an HP agent and explain the problem.
